Featuring one black 1/16” NPT oil restrictor and three silver 1/16” NPT plugs. They are color coded to prevent confusion and made or steel rather than aluminum for durability.
This oil pressure plug kit is a great add on to other balance kits or a way to maximize our balance shaft delete kit (linked below).
Several years back Jason at Rochester House of Boost and I spoke about restricting oil volume into the cylinder head to increase oil pressure in the bottom. Jason has been running a 4mm restrictor setup in his track for an entire season with great results. In addition to increase oil pressure below the cylinder head, the lower oil volume in the cylinder head means less oil having to return to the from the head. That more oil is available in the sump.
