This Heavy Duty Clutch kit features a 4-pick ceramic disc with the options of rigid or dampened hubs, and of splines for F35 and F40 gearboxes . The disc also features machined hub for zero change of interference with the diaphragm and disc and full encapsulated hub springs.
The pressure plate is designed to provide 60% more clamping force than the standard pressure plate.
These kits have been in development and on the market for years now and have been installed in some of the higher powered GM Euro cars on the streets in the USA.
The ‘4P Ceramic’ disc is a four paddle/puck segmented ceramic disc with a spring dampened hub and NO ‘marcel’ spring between the facings. This provides a more instant engagement and disengagement. Although we strongly suggest segmented discs for track use, it is possible to adjust driving style to make this useable on the street despite a slightly harsher feel than stock.
